In January 2018, a high record of monthly total precipitation in northern China drew our attention. The amount is 4 times more than that normal winters over the past 30 years. Up to now, many researches world focus on intensity precipitations or number intense precipitations, however, no sufficient study investigated continuous moderate precipitations. abnormal 2018 typical case precipitation. research region composed by part farming-pastoral zone and Hulunbuir Grassland. main method this consists analyzing month identifying types locations, exploring atmospheric circulations at moment found continuity key point for Northern China. Besides, caused frequent appearance cyclones vicinity.
